3. Matches

3.1 Arranging matches

Communication is key.

All managers should contact their opponent manager if they are being held up by another team to let them know of any potential delays , this is common courtesy and must be adopted when playing in VPL Ireland & UK. Saying nothing in the lead up to a fixture and then contacting the manager 17mins after the scheduled time is not acceptable.

a) Managers are fully responsible for arranging their fixtures with the opposing managers for their game weeks.

b) A tolerance of approximately 15 mins waiting time from the scheduled playtime is included.

c) If the opponent cannot be reached within the 15-minute period, please contact one of the league administrators to explain your situation. The League administrator will make a decision about the game.

Discord communication is essential and the only valid communication platform that VPL Ireland & UK will use for official communication. If the start of the match is delayed due to disconnects or FIFA bugs, your opponent(s) must be informed of the expected delay on the same evening.

d) All Matches must be arranged for Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday as default match days - However, if both managers agree you can play on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays but these days remain secondary.
