VPL CHAMPIONS LEAGUE
OPEN TO ALL EUROPEAN TEAMS WITH PRIORITY GIVEN TO TEAMS FROM THE VPL DOMESTIC LEAGUES
Registration open until 20 February
Competition starts 25 February
Competitive Model for 32 Teams (if there are more registrations, we will make the necessary adjustments)
2 Stages - Group Stage & Knockout Stage
➡️ GROUP STAGE
- 32 teams divided into 8 groups of 4 teams each
- Matches played in a home-and-away format (double round-robin), totaling 6 matches per team (one match per day)
- The top 2 teams from each group advance to the knockout stage
➡️ KNOCKOUT STAGE
- 16 qualified teams (top 2 from each group)
- Format: Best of 2 aggregate over two legs on the same day in the following rounds:
- Round of 16
- Quarterfinals
- Semifinals
- Final: Best of 3 format
